Yeat's poem "Innisfree" inspired Sam Seale a great song

"Innisfree" ......the peaceful island praised by William Butler Yeats

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean rows will I have there, a hive for the honey bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet's wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

Je vais me lever et partir, partir pour Innisfree,

Et la j’y bâtirai une petite hutte de branchages et d’argile:

J’y aurai neuf rangs de haricots et une ruche,

Et j’y serai seul, dans la clairière, au son des abeilles

Et j’y serai en paix, car la paix y vient doucement,

Au travers des voiles du matin, quand les criquets chantent;

Là tout brille à minuit, tout est pourpre à midi,

Et le soir est au chant des vols de linettes.

Je vais me lever et partir, parce que nuit et jour,

De la plage j’entends le lac murmurer;

Quand je suis sur la route, ou sur un trottoir gris,

Je l’entends des profondeurs de mon coeur.
